  i m trying to create website in wordpress and have domain hosted some other service

  If you already own a domain, it can be connected to your WordPress.com site with domain mapping:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Domain mapping is a feature of all paid plans. Each plan includes a domain credit which can be used to map an existing domain or register a new one.
