Domain

We purchased our domain: http://www.tiffandcoco.com from WordPress a year ago. The domain expired but we cannot resolve the issue to get it back. Can you please help? We are now a self-hosted site, so we’re really not sure where to get this issue resolved. Thank you!

Hi there, you’ll need Staff assistance in recovering the domain, which is now in the redemption period. Here’s what happens when a domain you purchase on WordPressdotcom expires.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-periodIn order to recover the domain, the domain registrar imposes an additional $80 fee on top of the renewal. Staff will need your agreement to that fee before they can begin the process.
This thread has been flagged for Staff. Please let them know whether you agree to that payment.

Our domain should still be in the grace period as it only expired this week. The problem was we couldn’t find the place for payment, then it expired prior to us because able to resolve it.

According to the WHOIS report I looked at, it was already in the redemption period:
Registrar: Wild West Domains, LLC
Whois Server: whois.wildwestdomains.com
Creation Date: 2013-06-10T13:22:34Z
Updated Date: 2017-07-23T16:05:45Z
Registry Status: redemptionPeriodStaff will let you know when they look in on this thread. Let them know whether you agree to that fee so they can proceed with recovery.

Hi there,
I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore tiffandcoco.com
to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back. If I am successful, I can send you a manual payment request form for you to repurchase the domain.I will let you know once I hear back from the registrar.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I was able to retrieve tiffandcoco.com and reactivate it under your account!
I have sent you the manual payment for the fee and registration, so please pay that when you get the opportunity.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
