  staff-imahappyengineer , no worries. We all were new at some point here and there is a lot to learn. I would recommend reading and re-reading the volunteer doc that @kokkieh linked to. Also, you can check the wpcom volunteer tags to learn where others went wrong. :) https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/wpcom-volunteers

  Also please know that once staff is involved (like kokkieh), they do come back to the thread. I usually step out of the conversation at that point (or if another volunteer decides to take over). :) I don’t like to spam OPs. (sorry for that now).
