    I use a free plan of WordPress. While signing up I wasn’t sure about various things so I put up a random domain name but now I want to change it something else and make it permanent. Can you please help me out how to proceed for the same?

    Your site address can be changed by following these steps:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    If you choose to discard your current address (see step 7), it won’t be possible to reuse it again. The process cannot be reversed so please read all the information carefully :)

    The ‘.wordpress.com’ part of your address can be removed by registering a custom domain.
