I already own weeklyrapgods.com with WordPress. Bought it earlier this year. But I deleted everything accidentally. I now want to attach weeklyrapgods.com, which I already own, to my weeklyrapgodsblog.wordpress.com. Can you assist me? Thanks.

Are you asking how to map to an existing domain that you already own ie. weeklyrapgods.com from your wordpress.com site at http://weeklyrapgodsblog.wordpress.com/ ?
How domain mapping works
Registering an underlying .wordpress.com URL first is required for domain mapping. That underlying URL does not have to match the domain URL when you are domain mapping. What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL .wordpress.com to the original content. WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. The WordPress.COM upgrade for mapping a domain must be renewed annually.

Hey, thank you for your help! My issue is that I keep getting an trying to map my domain to my blog. It keeps saying this domain is already taken or owned — yea, by me. Any way around this? It’s super considering that I already paid WordPress for the domain. Thank you in advance.

Hi @weeklyrapgods, we had to do a little finessing since the old site was deleted, but I was able to get the domain back and on the new site for you. Can you let us know what was happening when this all was accidentally cancelled? We’ll want to fix that.
