  Hi there,

  As per the documentation linked below, it is mandatory to purchase an upgrade plan for domain mapping.
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  There is no such separate mapping cost.

  Hi there,

  To map your site to a custom domain, you need at least the Personal Plan which is $4/month billed yearly. This plan will allow you to map your site to a domain you already own.

  Hi there,

  It seems the DNS records for my site are handled by wordpress and for some reason are not working. Please advise?

  It’s https://aliowenwedding.wordpress.com and the site I am paying for is https://aliowenwedding.com

  Hi Ali,

  When I check your URL, it tells me that this is an invalid domain name. did you type it exactly the same way as the domain name your purchased? I am going to tag this for a staff to take a look.
