  I bought a domain.
  sailor-s.com
  I want to delete this domain, but it will not be deleted.
  I want to use that domain and host it on another site.
  How can I proceed?

  If you purchased a wordpress.com domain, please follow the instructions listed in this support article here
  to use it on another site.

  I already pressed the delete domain button. When can this completely disappear ?!

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. In this case your domain won’t be available to use again until after it expires in December 2018.

  If you still want to use that domain we’ll need to restore it to your account. Please confirm if I should do that. In that case you’ll also need to create a new free site in your account, as you’ve deleted your original site and a domain must be connected to a WordPress.com for you to be able to access its settings.
