  If you don’t want to transfer your domain, you can map it.

  To have a custom domain name, you require a paid plan.

  I see you have now mapped a custom domain to your site. Asking United Domains to update the DNS in the last step in the process and we have some information about that here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#2-ask-your-domain-provider-to-update-your-dns-settings

  It can take up to 48 hours for this change to take effect so don’t worry if the domain doesn’t work as expected straight away.
