Domain

I created a new website and bought the domain. When I click it or go to it from dashboard, ”Oops, GoogleChrome could not find FergieTime.com”
What has happened here?
Thanks for help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Where did you create the new web site / blog? Are you trying to map fergietime.com. to a blog here on WordPress.COM?
What is the base WordPress.COM blog you are trying to map?
Who is your host?
The mapping is new but it is does not seem to be using WordPress.COM name servers – see below
Once everything is set correctly it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet

Hey, the original name is FergieWebsite.wordpress.com. All I did was go to store – domains – added FergieTime.com. It says DNS is not correct, what does this actually mean?
-
Your name servers do not appear to be set correctly – you bought Domain Mapping also?
Somehow your name servers are not pointing to WordPress.COM wich is required to have FergieTime.com when people visit the blog FergieWebsite.wordpress.com (where you are putting your content)
See the link above for domain mapping instructions – you should have followed them – see below for changing your name servers

Okay I deleted the name and should get money back, I prseum it’ll take a few hours.
I made things complicated I think. I should have came here first.
I want the domain name ”FergieTime.com” but it says its already registered. I never registered it, it’s not mine but when I search the domain nothing comes up, so does that not mean the domain is available? And then how do I get to use that domain as nobody else is using it.
Cheers

No, it means somebody owns it but isn’t using it. Unless you can find that person and make a deal with them to buy the name, you cannot use it.

Do a whois – send the owner an email if you want try and buy it – does not seem to be in use

Good luck – but be sure to use a good escrow or transfer agent to make sure that you get what you pay for
