  Hello!

  I’m trying to register a new domain, but wordpress doesn’t allow me to register it as .com, only as .blog. Since it is paid and there are no registered sites with the same address, why is this happening?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It is possible that although the domain is not actively in use it is owned by another party. You may check this for .com domains using this free tool:
  https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup
