  I bought a domain from automattic.com a year ago and don’t know how can I cancel it? If I cancel it how long it would take to make the domain address available for me again?

  I’ve flagged this for a staff member to come look, but it would help if they know (a) what domain you’re talking about and (b) which account that domain was purchased under.

  Hi there,

  I see you have since closed this WordPress.com account so won’t be able to reply here again, so I’m closing this thread.

  I assume you’re speaking of the domain, mahshidgorjian.com? That domain was cancelled in October 2017, but cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. We have no way to manually release a domain earlier.
