  I Purchased a domain and then i canceled it and i want to use the domain on a another website provider but i cant.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Once you buy a domain, there is no guarantee it will be available anywhere else to register.

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. Only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

  In this case your domain should be released towards the end of the weekend, at which point you’ll be able to register it somewhere else.

  We have no way to manually release the domain immediately.
