  I previously used a domain http://www.thatphotographystudent.wordpress.com but deleted the site. I would now like to get it back but when i try to register it, it says that the domain is in use, but when i search the domain, it says the site has been deleted. is there any way to get this domain back?

  Hi there, If you want to recover a deleted site, and it has been less than 30 days since you deleted it, you can request Staff to recover it. However, it is better to request this by answering the email you received from WordPressdotcom following the site deletion.

  If it has been more than 30 days since the site was deleted, you won’t be able to recover the site address.
