  I purchased a domain name through godaddy and they set me up with wordpress. Not sure if I need to map or transfer

  I’m a little unclear as to your meaning. What provider will be hosting the site?

  Did godaddy provide you with the open source WordPressdotorg software to build a site that they would then host? Or are you saying you want to transfer the domain and host it on WordPressdotcom?
