  I want to use certain domain but its ‘taken’. When I search the domain that I want as a regular wordpress website it says that there is no website with that name. So how can I use this domain even though it seems to be ‘taken’ when it really isn’t?

  Perhaps that wording was created by someone as a WordPress.com username, in which case the same address is reserved for that person only. You’ll most likely have to choose a slightly different address.
