  Hello, how do i start building my website without a domain? The website will not be linked to the domain for a while

  Just get started at https://wordpress.com/start and don’t choose a custom domain yet. :)

  You can add a custom domain to the site at any time.

  Hi there,

  That is not an issue – what you could do is create and a site on WordPress.com. You are assigned a .wordpress.com or a .home.blog subdomain whenever you create a site with WordPress.com, so you can just use that as the domain as you build the site and determine whether or not this is the platform you want to use. There should an option to select a free address when on this page:

  https://wordpress.com/start/domains

  Once you are developing the site, you can make the decision to transfer the domain over:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
