  I just created an domain name at Go daddy, do I still have to pay here? if no, how do I skip the screen to proceed.

  Hello

  If you need to use a custom domain, you have two options:

  Option 1: Domain mapping
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  option 2: Domain transfer
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  However, Both the options require that you have the personal plan added to your account. For more details about that please refer this: https://wordpress.com/plans/

  Thanks for your help here. I just wanted to mention that since the user indicated they recently purchased the domain we should make sure they understand it is not eligible for a transfer until it is 60 days old.
