Is there someway that I can use my aready paid for domain to replace my .wordpress.com domain. I want to be able to keep my pages (i.e. Contact page – http://www.myurl.ca/CONTACT, etc.). I dont have any hosting, other than free wordpress blog hosting and just a domain. Is this possible?

I understand that. That’s what I have it as now but with my domain registrar. I was jus wondering if there is a way that I can have me pages show up beside me domain like the WordPress one does. Like http://www.mydomain.ca/contact-me/subpage.

Your sentence is unclear, and I don’t know what you mean by “pages show up besides [your] domain”.

It would help if you said exactly what .ca domain name you are talking about.

I own http://www.taylorjohnson.ca and would like to replace .wordpress.com but would like to keep how each individual page has a different URL Ie. taylorjphoto.wordpress.com/contact-me.

In other words, you would like taylorjphoto.wordpress.com/contact-me to become taylorjohnson.ca/contact-me?

If so, then the only way is to follow the instructions I gave you in my first response. And follow the instructions to the letter, particularly Step 3 (Update Primary Domain).

To do what you are asking to do, you need domain mapping, yes.

Domain pointing is not domain mapping.

So when people visit taylorjohnson.ca it will take them to my WordPress site. Also the domain will change when people go on a different page like http://www.taylorjohnson.ca/contact-me?

Yes, even though you haven’t set it to primary it works.

Sp they can go to taylorjohnson.ca or taylorjphoto.Wordpress.com and it will both show my own domain then
