  Hi,

  I have purchased my own domain. When setting up my wordpress account I was searching to use my domain but it wasn’t coming up so I created the site using just the wordpress domain as a draft.

  How is best to transfer this to my own domain?

  Great question! There’s actually 2 different options to do this.

  Both require a personal plan (or higher). These plans include your hosting, domain, and support team access. Take a look here:

  There’s 2 ways to connect the domain. Either will work fine.

  1. Mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  2. Transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
