  Hi, I was given a free domain of makingtimeck.wordpress.com but when I try to launch it, it’s asking me to choose another domain and to pay!
  Why can’t I use the one above which was given to me before I created my site?

  Hi –

  That is odd. You do not need to pay us anything to launch a free site. Can you take a screen shot of where you are getting that message at? We need to take a closer look..

  Are you able to change the privacy setting on the site with these instructions?

  Thanks for your reply.
  I have taken two screenshots to show you where it says I need to change my domain to a payment plan and then another where I can’t change my privacy settings because the screen is greyed out.
  Not sure how to attach my screenshots to this email? :/

  After you click the Launch Site button, type in your free address in the domain box, and you’ll see the option to launch your site on the free plan.

  Hi,
  I cannot see the free plan.
  These are the steps I’m taking:
  1. Launch site from my site’s page
  2. Where it says: Give your site an address, I type in makingtimeck.wordpress.com
  3. A list shows up. They all have a renewal fee.
  I cannot see anything that’s states free plan.

  Is there a way I can send you a screenshot?

  Even when I put in the option for:
  Use a domain I own
  It doesn’t link up.

  When I click the Launch Site button for your site I see this:

  

  And if I click Skip Purchase, I see this:

  

  If you click on those options you should be able to launch your site without having to buy anything.

  If you don’t see the same thing as in my screen shots, please take screen shots of what you see, and upload them to your media library at My Site ->Site ->Media so I can take a look.
