  Im trying to transfer my site from wix to wordpress, but im confused about the domain

  Hi @gerardopnf, let us know what questions you have, but in general this is what I’d recommend:

  – Start your Site

  – Pick a paid plan (so that your domain will work here)

  – Skip the transfer / map step for now, and choose a free domain. You can add a custom domain later.

  – Transfer the content: https://transferto.wordpress.com/wix

  – Add the domain when you’re ready:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
