  Hi, I am about to buy a domain. Can you tell me please how I then link it to WordPress? Thanks!

  You can register a domain right here at WordPress.com (free for the first year with a paid plan) if this is where you’ll be creating a site. If you buy a domain elsewhere you can map it to a site here though. You’ll still need to buy a Personal plan or higher.
