  I feel a little silly but I am trying to learn how to manage my own website without spending an arm and a leg. I already have my domain hosted with word press so what do I do in step three?

  I don’t see any sites or domains under your account here, are you sure you’re not confusing WordPress.com with WordPress.org?

  To clear up any further confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
  We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
