Domain

I deleted my domain yesterday. I have since changed my mind and want to use the domain, so how long will it be until it is available to buy again?

Howdy –
No problem. I’ve sent a payment form to you via email. It’s for $18 which is the fee we have to collect in order to restore the domain. Your original purchase has been fully refunded which is why we need to collect this registration fee again. The refund was processed yesterday on May 12th and should reach you with in ten days.
Write back to me here once you’ve submitted payment through that email form and then we will restore the domain to the account.

Hey there,
You canceled the domain within 5 days of registering it, so it should be available again soon. Once a domain name is deleted by the registry at this stage, it is immediately available for registration by any registrant through any Registrar, and that happens shortly after the 5 day grace period.
We can immediately restore the domain for you within that 5 day period, but after that, we no longer have control over it. So, depending on where you want to register the domain (with us or elsewhere), you should decide ASAP on how you want it re-registered. You can always point the domain over to your host from WordPress.com until 60 days of registration hits (where you can transfer the domain anywhere you please). That will at least guarantee you will get it back without any potential complications. Let me know.
Thanks,

Thanks for your reply. So, if I do not do anything at the moment, when will the domain become available to buy from a different host site?

In your case, because you cancelled right away, the domain should become available again within 5 days. If you’d like to just wait until then, that’s fine.
If you want us to restore it sooner, let us know.
