  What does moving my domain entail?

  @bzaseybida,
  there are two way of moving your domain to WordPress.com.

  You can either map it – your domain will stay with the current registrar and you’ll need to go to their site to manage anything domain related.

  Or you can transfer the domain to WordPress.com and we’ll be your new registrar. This way you’ll manage everything from one place and you’ll be able to reach support with any domain related-issues :)

  Bear in mind that, to make the custom domain your primary address, you will need one of our paid plans.

  If you have a custom email address, you will also want to change some settings on it, to make sure it keeps working after the change. Note, however, that we do not provide email hosting, so you will likely want to keep it with your current host:
