    Hi, I purchased a domain through Go-daddy and have been using that as my site’s domain name for almost two or three years now. Today, when I typed in my domain name awakeintheam.com, it did not redirect to my WordPress site. Please advise if changes were made by WordPress in relation to domain use. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    You’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We’re something completely different from the open source WordPress software you’re using for your site, and we have no control at all over either your site or your domain.

    Please contact GoDaddy support for help with this, as your domain is registered and hosted with them, so only they have control over your domain and how it’s connected to your site.

    Support for the WordPress software you’re using is provided by the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, but they also don’t have any control over your domain or hosting account at GoDaddy.
