  already have my own domain. i used the ‘free’ wordpress option. will my domain be used? who will host it?

  If you wish to use an existing domain purchased elsewhere with a site here you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan. You can transfer the domain or map it.

  WordPress.com will be your hosting provider once your domain is connected through domain mapping as outlined in the previous reply.
