  Hi, I just cancelled and refunded the domain name im-livid.com but now I want to buy it on a different site and it’s saying it’s not available. How long before it becomes available again?

  Generally, a domain takes two weeks or more to be available again for purchase.

  If you would prefer to use your domain with a new host, it is highly recommended not to cancel the domain registration. Instead, you can either map or transfer the domain to a new registrar.

  Not sure where you found this info but it’s not true. The domains that are canceled right after the registration will be released after 5 days.
  Older domains can take months.

  That said, @omasonwilliams, you can either wait until the domain is available again or we can restore it so you can map it to another site and transfer it after 60 days. For that though, you’d need to pay the registration fee again. Let us know if that’s something you’d like to do.
