Recently cancelled my domain from GoDaddy (way too expensive). Does anyone know how to link my WordPress site back to its original unpaid domain? The “.blog” or whatever it is

https://newfacessblog.wordpress.com/ is the only WordPress.com site on your account and is already operating under a free plan.
Is that what you were referring to?

Thanks — so that site was never hosted here, as far as I can see. You might have had it redirected to a free site from GoDaddy’s end, though.
I don’t see a “Between the Lines” site under this account. Do you have another username?

Only username i have is josehndrxx, thats weird. Would best option be to go back to godaddy.com and use a free domain from there? I next this site running for a school assignment

If you mean the site
jhwrite.comit was at one time connected to your account by way of the Jetpack plugin, but that site was not hosted with WordPress.com. It was a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. Your only option here would be to contact GoDaddy to ask if they still have a backup of your site.
