  hi i just deleted my domain name on here thinking I could purchase it right away on site ground, the hosting site I have for wordpress, but it keeps saying its unavailable.. how long does it take for this to process?

  When a domain is canceled, there’s no guarantee when, or even if, you’ll be able to re-register it, as that process is entirely out of our hands.

  The good news is, the domain is still in the recover period, and since you did not receive a refund for it, I have recovered it.

  You can direct the domain name to SiteGround by changing its name servers: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/

  And, 60 days after registration (a policy imposed on all domain registrars by ICANN), you can transfer it to SiteGround if you want to: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

  You’ll need to consult with SiteGround’s documentation or support for the name servers on your hosting account there first.

  Then you can change your domain’s name servers by following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/
