  I am looking for a new website host but my current one is still active. I dont want to transfer my domain yet, just get started on building the website. Please advise as i can not move forward with out a domain.

  When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com) that you can use to start building your new site.
