I’ve already purchased a domain from Hostgator and would like to use that domain however I do not see on Word Press where I am able to do so. Can this be fixed for me to continue to build my site?
I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

All you need to do is click on “Start your website” or “Get Started” and before you know it, you will already have an amazing site set up.

Next, is to map your existing Domain from HostGator with your WordPress.com site. With Domain Mapping, you can maintain your domain registration with HostGator and still point the domain to your WordPress.com site.
