  Hey there,

  Thanks for reaching out. What is the domain you need help with exactly?

  If a domain is already purchased with another provider it can be transferred or connected to WordPress.com via custom DNS settings. Please see these guides on how to do this here:

  • https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/ (domain transfer)
  • https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/ (connect a domain)

  Also, in order to set a custom primary domain, a paid plan would need to be on the site, at a minimum the personal plan.
