  Previous years I had a domain and website with WordPress. A few days ago I decided to cancel the Domain and plan for my website.

  My email now no longer receives emails (Google workspace). I would like to regain access to my domain so I can receive my emails again.

  Error:
  [domain] is not eligible to register or transfer since it is in redemption. If you own this domain, please contact your current registrar to redeem the domain.

  Hey there, sorry to hear it! Canceling the domain does indeed make it stop working, and after several days it will enter domain redemption. The registrar charges a fee to recover the domain at this point.

  I’m going to send a redemption invoice your way so we can work on getting the domain back for you. Also, because the domain would have expired today, I’m going to include the renewal fee. That will add one year to the registration to help keep it from just ending up in redemption again, and you’ll then be able to transfer the domain to whatever provider you’d like.
