  I have transferred my domain, which is .org over to WordPress, however WordPress now has the name ‘XYZ.org.wordpress.com’ which is completely useless. I have already paid for the domain .org, I need wordpress to link that domain, not create their own.

  Correct account: Yes

  I can’t see a domain on this account – are you able to confirm the domain you’re working with so that we can double check all is well with the domain please?

  Generally speaking, a paid plan would be needed in order to set a custom primary domain, at a minimum the personal plan:

  What plans do you have with your site and what features are you looking to have for the site?

  I’ll be more than happy to offer advice on which plan would be suitable and what to do in order to get everything set up.
