  can’t activate the domain purchased today – still not linked to the site. Any idea what to do to activate it?

  It looks like the domain is ready to go, but what’s missing is a paid plan on the site.

  To explain, in order to set a custom primary domain, the site would need to be on a paid plan, at the minimum the personal plan:

  What features do you need with the site and what are you looking to do exactly? I can guide you toward the plan and the tools that you need for the site.

  Additionally, it looks like the domain is newly registered. Once a plan is purchased, we can refund the domain as this would be free with the plan for the first year.

  all this is very confusing, indeed. Please cancel my domain purchase, refund the costs and make sure the offer is formulated correctly (no domain functionality without a plan) so no time is wasted later on clarifying the issue.
