  ‘ but it says its an invalid domain?

  The domain can’t be connected because of the ø and æ. Domains that have these characters are called internationalized domain names (IDN), and we don’t support them on WordPress.com. You can learn more about this here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/#internationalized-domain-names-id-ns

  If this is a must-have domain for you, you may need to use a different hosting service provider that works with IDN. Otherwise, we recommend using a domain that doesn’t have a special character in it.
