    Hello,

    I have just started a wordpress page, I wrote my first post which was previewing as drivinginstructorkat.wordpress. when I went to publish it it gave me a checklist of things to do, eg. Write your first blog post, name your blog, choose a domain…etc.

    The list had ‘choose a domain’ unticked, so it seemed that I had to choose one, although I wanted the free one that was already showing on my preview as drivinginstructorkat.wordpress. But it showed me a list, and I had to pick drivinginstructorkat0 instead.

    Now it won’t let me change it back to drivinginstructorkat. I don’t understand why it wanted me to choose a different one? But I really want the original one back, is there a way to do this please? When I try to change it under Domains > change site address, it says drivinginstructorkat is now unavailable. Are you able to help please.

    Because some time has passed since you have posted this, I am not able to check into what you have seen. But on our end I do see that the site https://drivinginstructorkat.wordpress.com/ appears to have been deleted in error. I’ve restored it back to your account and you can access the admin dashboard here: https://wordpress.com/home/drivinginstructorkat.wordpress.com

    If you wish you can delete drivinginstructorkat0.wordpress.com from your account (it is a duplicate and you will not need it) by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/drivinginstructorkat0.wordpress.com
