  Hello,

  I am currently in the process of setting up my website on WordPress and have encountered a challenge with changing the site’s name. I understand that purchasing domains is an option, but as a beginner, I am keen on exploring the platform for free initially.

  While I am comfortable retaining the .wordpress.com suffix for the time being, I find that my site’s current name is my email address, which may appear unprofessional.

  I wish to know if there is a possibility to choose custom names for our sites without the need for purchasing a domain, as I have observed on some other platforms.

  I have changed it on settings’ ‘Site title’ section as well as ‘Web address’ sections. However web site still the same with my email address name and it opens site on the mentioned name address and I can’t change it.
