  Hello,

  I keep having an issue with the domain name. I keep having to delete the website and start again. No matter how many I make, a number is added to the domain name, despite the original being available when creating the site.

  I just want the domain name to be clean, without a number.

  Hi there!

   I keep having to delete the website and start again. No matter how many I make, a number is added to the domain name, despite the original being available when creating the site.

  This is expected because when you delete a site, its address is no longer available for future use. We show that in the warning message prior to confirming the deletion of a WordPress.com site.

  We can restore the original site address if it is deleted within 30 days. Can you confirm the site address you’d like to use? We can check and restore it for you if it’s still within the 30-day period.
