  So right now your domain is registered with Godaddy. You are looking to transfer it to WordPress / Automattic? You will need to unlock the domain and disable privacy protection at Godaddy and then get your Transfer Code from the Godaddy control panel. See https://www.godaddy.com/help/transfer-my-domain-away-from-godaddy-3560

  Then you will place the order at the company you want to transfer it to and provide the Transfer Code along with the order. The transfer takes up to 7 days unless you automatically approve it on the Godaddy side. See https://www.godaddy.com/help/approve-a-transfer-away-from-godaddy-6040

  Hi there, crazycakelady.wordpress.com is a free WordPress.com subdomain. What custom domain are you referring to? Where are you trying to transfer it to?

  If you recently purchased a domain, you won’t be able to transfer it until 60 days have passed. This is a restriction placed by ICANN. Until then you can point your domain to your webhosting.
