  Hi, I am trying to work out getting my website back up and running. It was all under samanthalauren.com but now it is showing samanthalaurenco.wordpress, can someone help me get the wordpress out of it so it cana go back to .com? I do not mind paying for word press again.

  Thanks for bringing this to our attention and sharing the domain name.

  I reviewed the domain samanthalauren.com and noticed it was registered with WordPress.com but isn’t anymore. It’s currently registered elsewhere.

  Do you still own the domain?

  If so, you can connect the domain by following this guide.

  I also checked the site https://samanthalaurencom.wordpress.com and noticed there’s no backup available, as the hosting plan has been inactive for a few years.

  We keep backups for 30 days for a site.

  If you’re okay with the current look and content of your site and want to start over, you can purchase the plan again by visiting My Sites -> Upgrades -> Plans.

  Once done, you can set your domain as primary from My Sites -> Upgrades -> Domains. This guide should help you with that.
