    Hi I own RCpainting.ca via GoDaddy and it has been connected to this WordPress website for over a year now but suddenly it has been changed to RCpaintingca.wordpress.com
    Can u pls find the issue. Do i need to renew $5 per month subscription?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    It looks like you might have resolved this one already, as I can see RCpainting.ca is working now for that site. But you are absolutely right. To be able to attach a domain to a site, you need to have a hosting plan with us at WordPress.com. Any plan will do, as all of them include the feature to add a custom domain to a site and then set it as the primary domain.
