  I have a free wordpress.com blog I want to switch it so I have my own domain.

  I can buy either your premium package or business package and domain name via wordpress and simply make my current blog become the new domain name so I don’t loose any of my previous data?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello,
  If you are just wanting to create a Domain You can also just register a New Domain. A new Domain is $18.00 per domain, per blog, per year. To make a Domain, you will go into Store>My Domains.
  You will want to enter in the Domain Name you would like to register to see if it is available. If it is available you will be prompted to continue your registration.

  Once you have purchased this new domain, you will want to go back into Store>My Domains and select the domain you wish to use as your Primary.

  Once you have set your primary, people can still look up your site from either of your domains you have (example.wordpress.com will still work.)
