  I did the update (80 €) and I would like to change my domain name http://www.tuppermix.wordpress.com to http://www.tuppermix.be, is that possible? I know nothing from Dns etc…. I’m a dummie :)

  It looks like you have set-up the domain mapping for tuppermix.be. Domain mapping is useful for domains that you have purchased at another registrar. Did you purchase the domain elsewhere? If so, you will just need to change the name servers to point to WordPress.com as explained here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#how-to-change-your-name-servers

  If you have not purchased the domain elsewhere, there are two main options:

  1. You can purchase the domain elsewhere and follow the steps above to change the name servers.

  2. You can choose a different domain name to register. At WordPress.com, we register .com, .co, .me, .net, and .org domains.

  I have purchased the domain Tuppermix.be elsewhere because .be was not possible with wordpress. But I don’t know how to change now, I’m dutsch speaking, this is not easy for me!!

  Thanks for the clarification. All you now need is the domain mapping upgrade.

  Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  Once you updated the nameservers, please add the domain mapping upgrade. If you have any issues with that please let me know!

  Hello, Thx I did what you asked me, but now I don’t see my blog at all!
  But I didn’t do anything at my DNS, I don’t know anything about it, can you please help me with that?
  So when I go to tuppermix.wordpress.com, it go automaticly to tuppermix.be, but I don’t see my blog there…..

  Hi there,

  It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=tuppermix.be

  Go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel – please note that they are the only ones who can do this. You will need to update the name servers as below:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Once that is done it may take a couple hours for it to fully propagate – sometimes it can take a couple days.
