  Hello, I already own a domain name. How can I transfer this over? Domain name is yvettevalensky.com

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  Go to https://wordpress.com/start/site/ and follow the steps to create a new site on WordPress.com. On the domains step, select the option to use a domain you already own, and then the domain transfer option. Transferring your domain will automatically renew it for an additional year on top of its current term.

  Note that to transfer your own domain and use it with your WordPress.com site will require that you upgrade to one of our paid plans. If you opt for an annual plan, one domain transfer is included for free. If you prefer to pay monthly, the domain transfer for a .com domain costs $18 extra on top of the plan’s cost.
