  how do I use a domain name that i registered through yall, but canceled within 24 hours? So I registered everything with yall, including the domain Molliejenkinspottery.com but then within 24 hours I canceled all of my upgrade and domain to go to Weebly. Now with Weebly I want to use my Molliejenkinspottery.com however it says it is still occupied… what do I do to use Molliejenkinspottery.com ?

  Hi there,

  When you cancel a domain that you registered with WordPress.com, the domain is sent back to the registrar. There’s a period of time (usually one to two weeks) before the domain is able to be registered anywhere else. We don’t have any control over the domain once it’s cancelled. The time lag can really vary so unfortunately I can’t give you an exact date. Your best bet would be to check the public information here:

  http://who.is/whois/molliejenkinspottery.com

  When the domain reads “Available” at the top of the page there, you should be able to register it at Wix!
