  I’d like to have a domain, say domainexample.com. I should know this answer, I know, but I don’t. The question I have is will my old Blog URL automatically go to domainexample.com when people click on it?

  Yes as long as you domain map your new domain – just buying the domain name will not do it – you need to both buy the domain name and then map it to your blog
