ok ive done that for just one of the posts, now what do i do to make that blog post go onto the transfers page aswell as staying on homepage?
I just checked your posts (under Posts > All Posts in your site’s dashboard) and it doesn’t look like that category got saved.
Can you please try adding that category to a post again? When you’re done, please be sure to click the blue Update button on the post to save the changes.

Great! To add that category to your menu, head to Appearance > Menus in your site’s dashboard. Select “Categories” from the left-hand side, and check the box next to your TRANSFERS category. Then click the “Add to Menu” button.
That will add the page for that category to your menu. (You can also give that menu item a new name if you don’t want it to be named TRANSFERS in your menu.) Any posts you add to that category will be automatically added to that page.
When you’re done, click the blue “Save Menu” button to save the change to your menu.
We also have details about that step here:

All seems to be a lot better now, thank you very much. However, on a page you can write an introduction to say what your site is about. My ‘pages’ are now categories really. The only real page is ‘home’ but thats custom. So i was wondering if you could please tell me how to write a introduction at the top of each category page, but not a blog. :D thank you SO much! really helpful..

Hi there,
So i was wondering if you could please tell me how to write a introduction at the top of each category page, but not a blog.
Category pages don’t have a space for static content like regular pages do, so there isn’t a space to write an introduction like that. If you want to have static content, you’ll need to create a regular page for that. However, keep in mind that posts don’t appear automatically on regular pages.
One way to do this with a regular page is to write your introduction and then paste in the Display Posts Shortcode. That will put links to your posts onto that regular page. However, that’s different from having the posts themselves appear on that page.

WordPress.com doesn’t support plugins — that’s a feature of self-hosted WordPress sites. However, WordPress.com handles search engine optimization for all sites hosted here. You can read more about how we work with search engines here: Search Engines

iv’e watched videos and spoken to people and they all said to get more views download a plugin SEO. And they all had a space on there dashboard which said ‘Plugins’ and its not on mine? any idea why

Hi there,
That’s because your site is hosted here at WordPress.com, and WordPress.com doesn’t support plugins. Plugins are a feature of self-hosted WordPress.com sites using the free software from WordPress.org.
You can read more about the differences between the two here:
However, WordPress.com has built-in support for features that self-hosted sites use plugins for, including SEO. The links I gave at the end of my last message have more details about that.
