Domain about to expire!

  Hi! I switched to self hosted last year with Siteground, but I keep on getting emails about my WP domain about to expire (Oct. 9th). I can’t complete the domain transfer with Siteground because the expire date is less than 15 days away, but when I click on the link provided in the WP emails, I can only upgrade my plan (personal, premium or professional…which I don’t want because I am registered with Siteground already and paying them). What do I do?

  Your domain still resides here at WordPress.com so you’ll need to renew it here and then perhaps transfer it elsewhere in due course.

  My problem though is that when I log into my account I can’t do anything else rather than upgrade my plan! Maybe is because I have no credit card saved into my account?

  Hi –

  You’re seeing that because it’s not the account where the domain was set up. You need to sign in as simplyjennyt1985 in order to process the renewal.
